Cozumel is part of the second largest formation of coral reefs in the world, which starts at the Gulf of Mexico until Honduras. It is famous for its strong currents up till 3 knots.
Most of the dives start at the south part of the reef and the currents bring you to the northern part.
The water is crystal clear and visibility until 160 feet is no exception.
